Which Search Engine is the Best?

When searching China on Google, Google first listed the location and how to get there on the top of the screen with some Wikipedia facts on the side. Google then provided top stories followed by opinion stories and videos, then places to visit in China, before finally listing additional websites.
When searching China on Bing, Bing show the location at the top of the page followed by Wikipedia facts divided into sections without having to enter the website and additional key facts along the side of the paper. From there, Bing followed up with website and articles.
Summary
Both websites provided accurate information with slight priorities over facts and how to get there and specific types of articles. This ultimately comes down to personal preference.
Search Query: Quadratic Formula
BING
When searching the quadratic formula on Google, Google provides the wrong equation at the top of the screen and as it gives the general form of the quadratic equation instead. Eventually, Google does provide the correct infromation upon scrolling down, but it is incorrect at the top of the page.
When searching the quadratic equation on Bing, Bing seems to default to giving a generic math solver, which is not the most useful tool in this situation. However, on the side, Bing is correct in the description of the quadratic formula, but it does not actually give the formula. Upon scrolling down, Bing does provide the formula.
Summary
Unfortunately, neither browser provides a great answer at the top of the page, but Google’s answer is simply the wrong formula we are looking for, whereas Bing provides a correct description of the quadratic fomula.
In overall summary, both browsers have their positives and negatives, and which one is used ultimately comes down to personal preference. In terms of recall, it is not possible to determine which search engine provides better recall since you do not see the irrelevant searches. However, both search engines produced irrelevant results.
